Hey everyone, been a long time since I was on here but am currently stuck and hope you can help. I've got a 1974 Elan 294 ss with the single cylinder 250 engine in it, the throttle cable is completely shot and as you may know parts are unobtanium for these at least at a decent price. I can still get throttle cables cheap for the 1980-91 years with basically the same engine and body, cable looks identical in the pictures but does anyone know if these will fit the older years? Even if its close Ill make it work, I tried a spare cable I had for my 250 citation but while the sheath is a close length and the ends are the same the cable inside is too short. Thanks in advance!!
