Recently bought 1999 Venture 600 Triple / 2-UP sled and would like to install a tether cord kill switch on it. Since I double ride my Special Needs son, I like this extra safety feature. And, I can use as hidden anti-theft switch - to keep the honest person honest (LOL!) as well.
Questions:
- What specific switch (from Amazon / ebay) do you recommend?
- Do I use closed or open switch version?
- Where do I wire-in this switch (re: inline with its factory kill switch wiring)?
Note: Can I take a Polaris tether switch and manually splice into Yamaha wiring? Example switch:
