Hey guys. Doing a little poking around and this seems like a great spot to pick up some knowledge from the snowmobile community.
I grew up in Michigan, and like assuming a good portion of folks in the Midwest spent a little bit of time on others machines. That said I've never owned one myself and my experience is pretty limited.
I got into backcountry snowboarding a couple of years back and am looking at getting a sled this season for two reason
1) backcountry snowboarding access
2) rip around in the high country in colorado.
Looking for some advice on a few things.
I've narrowed it down to polaris rmk and skidoo summit, likely a few years old.
Am I looking at the right machines for the kind of riding I'm looking to do?
Any years/models I should steer clear of?
Any other advice?
