Hi and help please. My polaris is super clean, low miles. Ran fine all winter. Got it out last night to test new riding gear. Had a misfire. Seemingly random. Far between misfires. Not at idle but any other rpm.
Anyway today I cleaned the carbs, they were beatiful though. Put in new plugs (also looked good). And cleaned power valves. Those were kinda dirty.
Now it won't get over 6500 rpm or so. It'll run 7 grand without a load when I jack up the track. Thinking it's not a coincidence and I must've screwed up.
Checked and rechecked my work, power valves, seem right. They move easy. All wires hooked back up. Tried old plugs, no change. Did break a nipple for the carb air vent hose going into the airbox, now it's vented just under hood. But no change.
Any ideas are greatly appreciated

01 500 xc sp won't go over 6500 rpm
