How much of a difference? srx 700

Thinking of buying a 2001 srx 700 with 3500 miles. I currently have a 95 Polaris 440 2up that's getting old. How much of a difference will I feel with the new sled? I mostly ride trails and lakes and I heard it is a good trail sled.
