How long does it take your machine to warm up? I've noticed my Jag takes quite a bit of time. I'll let it idle for a good 3-4 minutes before riding. And even after that, I'll still get some misses and hesitation here and there. After a few quick laps in the woods, it runs perfectly fine. But just seems that it takes some time to warm up. And even at warmish, just under freezing temps. I've gone through the carb more times than I can count. Just thinking this machine is cold blooded when you first get it going.
