Went to look at a srx 700 yesterday for $1400 with 4000 miles on it. Tracks in good shape looks good cosmetically. When you start it is bogs down a bit till you get past 15 mph if you don’t flick the choke switch up and down a bit. I’m thinking this is just carbs? Well he also said that the tach and the headlight doesn’t work because of a relay switch. He said he had one to put in but lost it. My uncle is pretty good with snowmobiles and he’s had a few of these and he thinks it could be that but also possible a stator. He doesn’t live very close so he can’t check it out. What are the odds that it’s a stator? Pretty expensive fix if it is?
