hey everyone, got a sled again after a few years.. like the title says, it bogs when warm..its a 440 fan cooled twin carb
im trying to reach the previous owner on when did he do the carbs..
heres how it went down , first ride on it.. started the sled and let it warm up for 5 or 7 minutes. it idled with no choke since it was in a heated garage. then i went to the other end of the street at 75% throttle or so.. about 500 feet done and slowing down the bogging started.. as it was about to bog to stall i flipped the choke to see and it came back alive snd i was able to get back home.. when it stalled sgain in my driveway.. got the plugs out and heated them up with a torch a little ss they seemed wet.. but might have been my fault as i tried the primer....waited 5 10 minutes and got it started again..it would idle but wouldnt move..just bog. used the first notch on the choke again and got it inside the garage..
the plugs are new and the compression is at 120 on both sides... apparently it was rebuilt few years back..
what i found so is a choke cable on onr of the carbs was tighter...not loose when the choke is OFF..would a choke plunger on one side do this ??
what else am im missing?
