So here's the scoop... I have a 2004 polaris pro x2 600 with running issues. It starts right up and will run fine but when you take off driving, it sounds like it is running on 1 cylinder, but it's not. At idle I can pull one of the caps off at a time and it will run on either cylinder by themselves. The pto side cylinder sounds like it is not running to full potential and misfires intermittently at 2000 rpms. I checked compression the pto side has 123psi, and the mag has 118. I have been through the carbs, switched out reeds, switched out coil, sprayed the crank seal with starting fluid, pulled the head off for scored jug, changed the plugs, and still nothing. I have no idea what it could be. Hopefully someone has had a similar issue and was able to come up with a solution.
