1995 ET410LT - new acquisition. Noticed the secondary was wobbling. Took it off and discovered the circlip in front of the bearing was missing. I put a cheapie on, and that stopped the slop, but it let go. Put on a proper (stiff, thick) Yamaha circlip, and now it has failed too by the look of the slop at the secondary again. Sled has a nasty vibration that might be the slop or an hourglasses belt. I’m going to change the belt and the clutch side jack shaft bearing and another circlip. But am I just bandaiding this thing? Is something else wrong? Anyone seen repeated circlip failures? Thanks!
