I am having problems with getting spark on my 1998 RMK 700. When it runs, it runs great, but after a little bit of time, it just dies with a little backfire and then I can't start it again. I have bypassed ignition and kill switch. I wanted to test the stator next because I don't know how to test the CDI Ignition Box.
Can't find anything about what the resistance values should be for the stator on this machine.
Here are some pics. One is of the CDI Ignition Box, the others are of the connectors on the stator cable. I am assuming that I need to test the resistance between the connections on the female plug. Pretty frustrated that out of 4 Polaris dealers in my area, none of them know much.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
