Been riding sleds since age 5 to age 22. Ya. Many memories / stories of "when I was a kid...." LOL! Being age 55 (mid life crisis time) today, I'm now getting back into sledding. A few days ago, I bought a 1999 Yamaha Venture 600 Triple - 2 up design. Before buying, I read many good reviews of this "limo". Will use it to mostly transport my Special Needs son around on flat land / short trip tours. So far, it needs new spark plugs, a spare drive belt (clipped on it belt guard), fresh fuel replacement and 2 x slider replacements. I'm thinking of installing new fuel filter and clean its carbs as well. If wondering, its only got 4,300 KMs ( 3,675 miles ) and it instantly fires up cold and/or hot. Wish me luck with this one.... It's the first Yamaha I've owned...
For sleds, is it customary to name it (like with boats)? Or, do we simply call it "the sled"?
