Really need someone who knows for sure to reply please, a friend of mine , has 98 and 01/02 thundercat 1000 will the stator from the 01/02 work in the 98 are these ac voltage and if so how do u test them, fyi. Some one tested electrical system told him the stator was bad, took old stator and his money and never came back. Said sled would run on gas in the cylinder but stator was only putting out enough to start, sounds like B.S. to me sounds like fuel problem , he has 01/02 with blown out cylinder want to use stator from that if it will work,
