So I have been out of snowmobiling for several years as ridding time slipped away as that thing called life started to evolve. In addition the amount and time that we had legit snow on the ground reduced in our area. Fast forward to now; we just got our son a Polaris 120 that he will get for Christmas as he is turning into a little motor head at 5. Well he can't be the only one that gets a sled now (and the wife enjoyed it).
I have always had ski-doo but found a package deal just up the road from where we live. 2005 Polaris Classic 550 Fan with 700 miles, 2005 Polaris Classic 500 Liquid with 900 miles and a Thule enclosed trailer that has only seen the road a couple times (also had 2 helmets with heated shields). Everything is super clean as this was the 2nd owner but literally only rode them a couple times and it was all garage kept (they all need a cleaning but there are no scratches, paint chips, rips, etc.)
Picked everything up for $5K, from my original looking's it seemed like a good deal? The wife will have the 550 and I will have the 500. Was looking for something larger for myself but for what we will actually do with them and the whole price I didn't want to pass it up. Figured worse case that we keep them a couple seasons and can hopefully get our $$$ back out of them.
