Been using these forms to fix my Polaris and artic cat snowmobiles with threads other people open. Figured it was time for me to register and make my own!
Just bought a 1995 Polaris XCR 600, idles perfect at about 1800 and when i lift the track off the ground it will run freely!
My issue is, when its on the ground, itll bog when the clutch engages at about 4k-4200 but if i feather it slowly increase how fast i feather it, itll eventually move but i just pull the throttle itll bog and die. sometimes backfire out of the exhaust.
i dont think its the clutch because it engages properly and has been cleaned by a local shop. I have not cleaned the carbs yet, plan on doing this when i have time this weekend.
a Friend thinks that i might not be running on all three carbs so its not getting enough power. Any thoughts and ideas i should test when i get to working on it saturday???
