Ihave a 1988 Cheetah 500 fan cooled touring that I cannot get spark to work I am getting fire from the connector from engine to cdi unit. It is a three prong connector two male prongs and one female. Female has power coming out when recoil is pulled and the male prong with a red wire has power also when engine pull over and the black must be a ground. I ordered a new cdi and ignition coil too but still cannot get any spark at plugs . Does the four pin connector have anything to do with the fire issue as I think it is only for the headlights it has three female pins and one male pin .two female pins are yellow and one is brown and the other is black. Appreciate any help with this problem thanks in advance
