Hello all, I'm new to the snowmobile world with my recent purchase of a 1987 Exiter LC. I thought that I got a pretty good deal on the sled but it has lacked any sort of maintenace for a long while. At this point i'm trying to decide if it's worth putting any more money into. I'm pretty handy and confident I could complete any repair but I think my main limiting factor will be part availability. Right now I'm looking at the clutch and it appears to be very worn. the rollers have a tremendous amount of play. It appears that there is 0 bushing remaining. Also the clutch weights have some pretty good wear on them and lots of play. I've been searching around for a kit to rebuild this clutch but I have had no luck. Is this clutch worth rebuilding or should I look a replacing it with Comet 102-C? Any other advice would be greatly appreciated.
