Hello, I'll try to keep this as simple as possible.
I recently bought a 1995 storm sks for 600 bucks with 1700 miles. (Harsh miles) this thing is beat. I was planning on restoring it..but during teardown and found cracks in the tunnel.
I saw a 1996 xlt sks for sale locally for $1000. I was thinking if I bought that.. Split the tunnel from bulkhead..would the tunnel from the 96 xlt (xtra 10) match up to the 95 storm bulkhead?
I would also be using the hood, belly pan, seat, skid, gauges, and front suspension ect. from the XLT, it also has a new track on it so the purchase would be worth it. I beleive anyway. I assume those parts will interchange flawlessly.
Any input would be much appreciated.
Thanks- Wyatt
