I bought a 1973 Evinrude RC-35-Q for $50 and I can't get it to run with out me priming it. Someone before me installed a plunger type primer like the ski-doos have. It does not seem to have the fuel pump which I think is my problem. The original wire type primer is disconnected at the fuel tank and I don't think the fuel is running to the main fuel line on the bottom of the carburetor but in stead is only running to the primer line on the top of the carburetor. I guess my question is what do you think would be the quickest and cheapest option to get it running like it should be?
