And again with the problems. Posting on my father in laws behalf. The sled is an 89 Polaris Indy trail deluxe. At complete random ALL the lights will simultaneously fail, then com back on, then shut off again, and repeat. There is no pattern to when they fail, and nothing seems to trigger it either. It's completely random.
One post suggested tapping on the voltage regulator when the lights fail, and though they didn't come back on immediately, they did stay on for quite a while afterwards.
Anyway, what to do now? We can't legally ride anywhere here without working lights. All advice and help is always appreciated, this forum has been invaluable the last few months, I am grateful for all the knowledge it's provided.
