Hello,
New to snowmachines. Here in Alaska. Both sleds are working. Have had them for two seasons but not able to ride much the first year. They both stay outside on a trailer covered with two layers. Just wondering about one of them in particular that gives me a hard time. Have two machines. 1st 2016 Ski-Doo Tundra 4 stroke 600 ACE, liquid cooled. Normally no issues with that one. Starts right up. The other is a 2014 Ski-Doo Tundra 2 stroke 550 fan cooled. Was riding yesterday with no issue. Some dumb questions if anyone has an opinion it would be appreciated.
1. While on trailer and covered but outside in the freezing cold, anything I should do to keep them in shape if only used once every 1-2 weeks. Battery/oil/ etc?
2. The 550 2 stroke fan cooled. Takes more time to start. Sometimes gives issues starting at all. At other times like yesterday(in the teens), started after 2-3 attempts and rode well. As above, Battery/oil maintenance now in the Winter?
Do I need to keep them on a charger? Change anything with oil since they are running well? Both have very low miles.
I appreciate any info that can help.
Thanks
Allan
