08 MXZ tach

I have an 08 MXZ 500 SS trail. Tachometer does not return to zero when engine is shut down. also reads about 1500 rpm high.
any suggestions or fixes? thank you

In need of used primary clutch 96 vmax 600

Hello everyone!!! I just picked up a 96 vmax 600 and it doesn't have a primary clutch. I know I can get one from ebay around 250-280 but really don't have it for the end of the season. I need one so I can run it and see how it rides and so I can see what else I may need to buy in the spring. I plan on doing pipes, clutches first thing in the spring so any help on a less expensive one would be really helpful. Thank you in advance

'91 exciter II LED light bar

looking to install a LED light bar on my '91 exciter (non electric start). Wondering if anyone has done this and how was it done. Not sure if I can wire it into existing wires or maybe tap into the wires coming from the stator. I realize I'll have to wire it into a rectifier to get the right current but haven't seen too much online on how to do it. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

Stock 97 XLT clutching

Hi I was wondering if anyone could help me with clutching my 1997 Polaris XLT Limited evolved chassis with 34mm carbs all stock. I like to ditchbang and ride trails occasionally. I plan on getting a studded track this summer as well. I'm looking for better acceleration and just all around performance but not too worried about top end. Right now I have all of these parts as options: Polaris gold primary spring, Polaris blue primary spring, Polaris 10 weights, Polaris 10m5 weights, 34degree helix, And Polaris red secondary spring. I would like to use the blue spring if possible to up engagement but what about weights, helix, and sec spring. Thank you very much in advance,

Top End Issues

I have a 2003 Polaris XC 700 with about 5500 miles on it. I am having problems trying to get it to open up. It starts, idles and runs perfect up to about 60% of the throttle. At that point it starts bogging down. If you let off it will snap back to life again but only up to 60%. For the past 3 years I have had the machine I have had zero issues. This just started one day on the trail out of no where. Here are the steps I have tried: 1) checked compression and both cylinders are between 115 and 120 2) Thoroughly cleaned the Exhaust Valves 3) Replaced Bellows 4) Cleaned Fuel Pump 5) Cleaned Carbs 6) Swapped out plug wires and harness 7) Tried running it without the belt to make sure it wasn't a clutch issue. HELP!:dunno:

ISO Rupp Part

I am looking for an upper right hood panel for a 1973 Rupp Nitro. I found one site that offered them but have been out of stock for as long as I have been searching. My current one cracked and after several attempts at repairing it, keeps cracking. If anyone has one to sell, or knows where to look for one I would greatly appreciate it.
