In previous post, I replaced some oil bottle grommets to fix an oil leak. The pesky OIl leak is fixed!!!!!
I needed to move the carbs and disconnect some vent tubing that runs to the High Altitude compensator so I could get my hands into the engine area
I wanted to see if the primer worked, pumped it a few times and noticed gas was moving through the lines. This morning, I noticed HUGE puddle of gas under my sled....YIKES. It made for an exciting Monday morning.
I did not know where the leak was coming from. I initially suspected the spring clip to the fuel bowl, but it seemed pretty tight. I thought maybe it was the primer jets, so I disconnected them that place that line in a vertical position, I also connected all the vent lines to the tubing.
I was tired last night and did not hook up all the vents from the Carb to the HIgh Altitude Compensantor. I connected those and put the lines in a vertical position.
Any thoughts how this happened?.
