Skidoo Renegade Rotax 800R E-Tec Spark Issue

As stated in the title, I'm having trouble getting spark. I tested the kill switch for continuity and it was all good. Replaced the plugs and tested them and was able to get spark. I reinstalled the plugs and started the engine only to have it idle for about 2 seconds before dying. I removed the plugs and tested for spark again and there wasn't any this time. Checked all wire for looseness or damage around the coil pack and all looked good. Both fuses are fine as well.

Any ideas on what the issue could be here?

Should i rebuild my 2003 skidoo rev 600 ho? Has about 6k on rebuild

Sleds at 11,700 miles, it qas last rebuilt at 6k miles, i believe the p.o used wiseco pistons, my sled runs great and goes into reverse strong im just wanting to not have any downtime this season, should i replace my pistons and rings? I'm looking at the spi kit with single rigs for 175 free shipping, comes with caged bearings and gaskets, my fear is that one of the pistons will get more worn than the rings and develop piston slap cracking a skirt, opinions much appreciated

96' Indy 500 trail - kill switch issue

Hey guys i just signed up here to get some advice. This passed winter my 500 indy gave me some fuel issues which i've fixed this week but upon trying to restart it i found it was having an intermittent spark issue as well, probably from sitting around un-used.

Long story short i've disconnected the single black wire coming off the CDI box (i think that's the name of it) and the sled fires up great now but i'm having trouble tracking down the cause of the problem and would like to properly fix it instead of rigging up a different kill switch

So far i've pulled apart everything around the handlebars to disconnect every connection but with every component disconnected, that little black wire is still grounding out telling me the problem is somewhere else in the harness but my lack of experience with sleds is leaving me guessing where to look next

Are there any common issues with these i can look for? any advice would be great
