Marginal snow kits

Just bought a 2014 Yamaha Vector.Was thinking about putting on a marginal snow kit.Sled has DuPont slides.Good to have or a wast of money? Thanks for any info.

Insane idea. Rebuilding 1971 399 Nordic for trail riding. Better but not modern.
Want a little more suspension Front and back and maybe a longer track. What if I used a center pivoting lawn mower axle for a little more flexibility? Attach skis in place of wheels and placed a coil/valve type spring each side of the pivot to limit movement to an inch. This with the original springs on skis.
