Xc 700 1998

Looking for a sled. Been out of sport a long time, so need advice on whats good/ bad.
Found this sled on-line, haven't actually seen it. Basically, here it is.
'98 XC 700
M-10 suspension (FAST)
Olin front & rear of track
FOX adjustable front ski shocks
121" RIPSAW track 1.25"
Replaced alum motor mount, with fab steel unit. Mtr mount breakage problem on these sleds?
One owner and lots of pictures, look good. Asking $2000.00 OBO

Is this sled suitable for 2-up riding?

What kind of skis are these and can i get aftermarket skins for them like oem?

This sled is one of three of mine i have a formula 3 700 and rev 600ho but this mach z is my favourite i just picked it up and want to keep the original skis in the shape there in now, can i get oem looking skins to replace the old ones? If not im gonna save them for looks idc how it sounds i love this sled, in which case you guys tell me i cant get the plastic skins any more im going to put different skis on it, should i get skidoo flex skis like someone put on my formula 3 700 or precision skis like on my 03 rev? I trail ride and have owned the rev since 2011 and just recently bought both ck3 skeds this spring so i dont know how the flex skis will handle i just know i hate the skidoo pilot skis, thanks in advance alsi is it true a ck3 will just sink in deep snow regardless of not letting off the throttle? And im 6'8 getting on the ck3 makes my knees uncomfortable how can i raise the seat

Should i paint my formula 3 black?

Im going to put an 800 in it and kinda not sure i like tbe purple, should i paint it all black and leave tbe decals off? Or should i order the mach z decals for ot from doo graphics? Please give me your opions i think all black would look better, id be painting the sides and tunnel flat black, also is there anyway to convert a 700 to the 809 and leave the existing bottom end in it? Final question im going to be using it for trail riding is the 700 faster off the line? Would it be cool to do it black and leave the 700?

Lockable petrol caps

We have 2 Yamaha Viking 540s circa about 2005/2006 out in Greenland. They have flip up petrol caps and this year we had trouble with petrol sniffers visiting during the night leaving the caps open for snow to get in. Is it possible to fit lockable caps or can anyone suggest how the existing caps can be modified to be lockable.

84 indy track skid question

Just got the boy an '84 indy 400 L/C and the skid is pretty shot.

My question is, does the replacement need to be from the same year 400 or would newer (85-90's) 400 or 500 skids work?
